Mr. North was selected by the Board of Directors to fill the unexpired term as Director for William M. Goodrich in May of 2011 and was installed on June 18, 2011.
Mr. North received a B.A. from the University of the South (Sewanee, Tennessee) and has completed several post graduate studies in Insurance and Risk Management.
Mr. North is currently Chief Executive Officer/President of AmeriLife, the nation's largest, privately-owned, senior-focused, life and health insurance marketing organization and has over 25 years of experience in the life and health insurance industry. He has an acknowledged reputation for developing high growth businesses through a focus on strong client service, innovative thinking and exceptional people management skills. He has been extensively involved in financial reporting, actuarial design, distribution development and administration for several life and health insurance companies.
Mr. North has also served on the executive management team of numerous stock companies and on the board for several charitable and state boards. He served as a board member and chaired the Finance Committee for the Neurological Injury Compensation Association (NICA) for the State of Florida where, through his leadership, assets for the NICA Fund grew from approximately, $400 million to over $700 million.
Mr. North is a member of the Brown Thrasher Lodge 1000 in Georgia and has been a member since January of 2008.
