We know that for most volunteers, a simple thank you or the look on a person's face after you have helped them is enough reward. The feeling of doing good is why most first time volunteers repeat the act. But we also believe that kind acts and warm hearts should be recognized; that we should honor those who go above and beyond to help others in need.  And you don't have to only recognize members' volunteer service through the Society; you can honor them on a local level.  Click here for some recognition ideas.  In addition, the Society sponsors the following recognition programs:
