On the first Saturday in May fraternalists and nonfraternalists alike come together for JOIN HANDS DAY to make a difference in their communities through helpful projects that connect youths and adults. JOIN HANDS DAY gives fraternal benefit societies and volunteer organizations the opportunity to reach out to people they don’t know, to connect generations and develop new relationships.

It is definitely not too early to begin planning for Join Hands Day 2010.  This year the Society is proposing a nationwide Join Hands Day event - May Basket Campaign for the Elderly.  This does not mean that you cannot plan a completely different Join Hand Day project, but perhaps the idea of the May Basket Campaign for the Elderly will give you a quick start out of the gate.  Start planning your next Join Hands Day event now.  Visit the Join Hands Day website at www.joinhandsday.org for details.
